We’re excited to be a part of innovatED in the ACEP 2016 exhibit hall! Our team will be showing how Clarius Wireless Ultrasound Scanners are ideal for emergency medicine inside and outside the hospital. Clarius Ultrasound Scanners work using a mobile app for most iOS or Android devices, giving physicians the freedom to perform exams anywhere. In addition to demonstrating excellent image quality and ease of use, we will showcase the Clarius Cloud, enabling users to securely share images for review.
You’ll be able to see Clarius at work in the innovatED Code Black, which will be a live experience of a response to a simulated earthquake disaster. And you can stop by the Ed Talks area on Monday at noon to hear Dr. Geoff Sanz speak about using ultrasound outside the hospital room.
Clarius Mobile Health / Emergency Ultrasound Beyond the Hospital Room 12:10 PM – 12:20 PM
Presented by Geoff Sanz, MD FRCPC, Ultrasound Director, Kelowna General Hospital Department of Emergency Medicine
Dr. Geoff Sanz is an emergency physician who works inside and outside the hospital. As an avid skier and mountain biking enthusiast, he often works in remote areas, having to triage patients quickly. Geoff will share real-life trauma scenarios where a pocket ultrasound would provide critical information to make the right decision.
